108 Names of Lord Hanuman — Ashtottara Shatanamavali

Lord Hanuman has 108 sacred names, each describing a divine quality or deed. Reciting the Hanuman Ashtottara Shatanamavali is a complete act of worship in itself. Devotees chant these on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using a tulsi or rudraksha mala of 108 beads — one bead per name.

How to Recite

Sit facing a Hanuman image. Light a diya and incense. Recite each name preceded by “Om” and followed by “Namah.” One complete round equals one cycle of the mala.
